There is a conventional layout for a series of magazines whereby there is an image on one page and the text on the other, the image always gives a lot of power to a double page spread as it depicts more than one meaning, regardless of subtlety of the poses. Also, underneath that power it allows us to see more into the artists themselves and the characters they bring forth.
My magazine will follow this conventional codes are going to be present as I feel that it will help with the engagement of my audience and truly highlight my subject.
